David Moore, Managing Director, oversees strategy, debt and equity financing transactions and loan acquisitions.  Mr. Moore has extensive experience working with financial services institutions and other participants in the capital markets.  With over 25 years experience as a financial consultant and hospitality developer, Mr. Moore has the ability to view advisory assignments from both the client’s and owner’s perspectives.  He currently serves as a consultant and strategist, specializing in the management of distressed debt investments for Birmingham Asset Management, Inc., and as a consultant to several regional banks.  Mr. Moore has structured capital solutions for a wide variety of institutional and individual clients ranging from the formation of a private REIT to the stock acquisition of a hotel operating company.  Mr. Moore served as a Senior Commercial loan officer for six years managing all phases of commercial real estate development.  He began his career with Prudential Securities and attained multiple securities, insurance, and commodity trading licenses.  Mr. Moore received his B.A. in Economics from Hartwick College, New York (summa cum laude, 1981), and is an alumnus of the Louisiana Graduate School of Banking.

Mark Boutwell, Managing Director, works with Institutional and Bank clients to help find solutions to liquidity and dispositions of performing, sub-performing and non-performing loans and assets. He also works with clients looking to acquire strategic assets for their portfolio during a period of market dislocation. Mr. Boutwell has over 18 years of Banking, Real Estate and Development experience. He started his career as a commercial lender with an affiliate of The Federal Intermediate Credit Bank of Columbia, SC. He has served in various credit and support positions for Signet Bank in Falls Church, VA and Dominion Bank in Tysons Corner, VA. He has also served as a financial advisor for Legg Mason based in Baltimore, MD and has held Series 7 and 66 licenses as well as the AAMS designation. Mr. Boutwell has been involved with several real estate development projects in the Southeast, the largest of which encompassed a 23 story residential high rise condominium in Panama City Beach, FL. He received his B.S. in Agribusiness in 1992 from Mississippi State University as well as a Masters Degree in Agribusiness Management in 1993 from Mississippi State University.
